Formerly known as Expertrade Engineering Sdn Bhd, Tectum has evolved into a specialist roofing contractor after initially starting as a general building contractor. Over the years, we have completed numerous roofing projects for new building as well as upgrading and refurbishing roof works of existing building. We had established ourselves as one of the prominent players in the industry, with strong support from roof manufacturers and suppliers.
Our team comprises highly skilled professionals with extensive knowledge of roofing design, construction, repair, maintenance, refurbishment and renovation of existing buildings. We pride ourselves on offering TOTAL ROOFING SOLUTION, which includes providing expert advice, quality materials and exceptional workmanship to ensure that our clients' roofing needs are fully met.

Our founders' combined experience and networking have led to the successful rebranding of Expertrade to TECTUM 7 M SOLUTION, reflecting our commitment to delivering quality and innovative roofing solutions to the market.

Azman bin Hamdan
Executive Director/Co-Founder
Azman bin Hamdan is a highly experienced and accomplished project manager and general contractor with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career as a Project Manager for a high-rise building with a G7 Contractor and later transitioned to MUI Berhad, a public listed company, where he spearheaded the construction of high-rise residential, commercial, factories, shopping mall, hotel, resort and institutional buildings with an accumulated contract value of more than RM200 million.
Azman holds an academic background in Quantity Surveying, which he leverages to ensure that all construction projects are executed to the highest standards and within the allowable budget and timeframe. In 2007, he founded Expertrade Engineering Sdn Bhd, where he specialized in cold-form steel trusses construction and completed numerous roofing projects.
Azman's professionalism and networking skills had enabled him to build a good rapport with respective approving authorities about roof design and construction. His capabilities in successfully delivering numerous roofing projects enable him to be recognized and gained strong support from well-known roof manufacturers and suppliers that further enhance his company's capabilities and expertise.
Later, Azman partnered with Mohammad Hassan to rebrand Expertrade Engineering as Tectum 7 M Solution. The new company aims to become the market leader and prominent specialist roofing contractor offering total roofing solutions in Malaysia, leveraging Azman and Mohammad's extensive experience and expertise.
Mohammad bin Hassan
Managing Director/Co-Founder
Mohammad bin Hassan is a highly skilled professional with over 25 years of experience in the property industry. He has w Master's Degree in Property Investment and a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying. Mohammad has played a significant role in contract management and valuecost engineering for projects of various sizes, including townships, niche developments, leisure and commercial locally and internationally, through his work with PRIMA and Sime Darby Property. He is passionate about construction digitalisation and building information modelling (BIM) and committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in this field.
Mohammad is an entrepreneur in heart who is passionate about innovative cost management. He ventures into several businesses related to his passion and one of his trades is providing high-quality roof solutions to clients in the property industry.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism, earning the respect and trust of his colleagues, clients and partners.
